Juniper Inexperienced Vitality and KPI Inexperienced have emerged as winners in Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam’s tender for 500 MW of grid-connected wind-solar hybrid initiatives in India. They respectively secured 150 MW and 50 MW of capability.
Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam Ltd. (GUVNL) has allotted 200 MW in a wind-solar hybrid public sale for 500 MW, with one other 500 MW to be awarded below a greenshoe possibility. The grid-connected hybrid capability was awarded at a median value of INR 3.015 ($0.036)/kWh.
KPI Inexperienced bid for 50 MW and gained the capability by quoting the bottom (L1) tariff of INR 2.99/kWh. Juniper Inexperienced Vitality secured 150 MW, as its quoted tariff of INR 3.04/kWh fell inside the L1+2% vary.
The winners will arrange hybrid renewables initiatives on a build-own-operate foundation. The scope of labor consists of dealing with the transmission community as much as the supply level.
The photo voltaic and wind parts of the hybrid undertaking will be positioned on identical websites or in several places. GUVNL will signal energy buy agreements with the builders for 25 years.
